Now it is imperitive the London Borough of Hounslow steps in to help its last remaining proffessional football club.

The former sports minister, Tony Banks MP, has warned that the Government cannot afford to stand asise and let clubs go to the wall.

"The Government cannot just wash its hands of it because the implications for the social fabric are profound," Banks told BBC's the Today programme.

AbeeC calls on the London Borough of Hounslow Council to work with Brentford Football club to come to an arrangement that will ensure football remains in the community and Brentford FC continues to remain a large part of it.
