A Q and A with...

This week i spoke to a Huddesfield fan about his thought for this weekend game against the Yorkshire side...

1. Tell us a bit about yourself; Name, age, how long a fan of your club etc...

Hi, I’m Garfield, 21, and I live in Huddersfield. I’ve been supporting Town since my dad started taking me to the games back at the old Leeds Road ground, probably around 15 years ago or so.

2. What was the first football match you went to and what was the score?

I can’t quite remember the first game I ever attended, but I remember that Eoin Hand was the manager at the time.

3. What is the best and worst match you have attended?

The best match I’ve ever attended has got to be the Division 2 play-off final in 1995 at Wembley. We beat Bristol Rovers and gained promotion to Division 1. And the worst match that I’ve ever attended is probably the 5-1 hammering at Port Vale we received in the Wadsworth-era, the season we were relegated to Division 3.

4. Where do you expect to finish this season?

I’d say 9th. But anywhere above Bradford will suit me!

5. Where do you think Brentford will finish?

The play-offs look likely for you lot while our slim hopes have faded away in the last week. I reckon you’ll finish 5th.

6. How did you do last season?

Last season was one of our best for years; we gained promotion through the play-offs after nearly becoming extinct at the beginning of the season! It was good to see all the young academy lads coming through to the team and doing well too.

7. Who is the player Brentford should watch out for when we play you?

Pawel Abbott is our main source of goals and one of League One’s leading goalscorers, so he’s definitely one to look out for.

8. Whose the Brentford player you think you should watch out for?

Sam Sodje. Efe may have give him some tips, so he may know our weaknesses!

9. What's your team like? Strong areas/players, weak areas/players, manager + backroom staff etc..

Our defence is starting to look solid with the Clarke brothers playing in the heart of it, so I’d say our defence is now one of our strong points. Wing play is one of our weaknesses I’d say.

10. Make a prediction for when Brentford play you...

I’ll go for a 2-1 win to Town with Brandon scoring one of the goals!

Thanks go to 'Garfield' or taking part in this weeks Q and A, next week we hope to be hearing from a Luton fan.
