A Q and A with...

With two sides at opposite ends of the table meeting this weekend as part of the final countdown to the end of the League One season we thought we'd hear from a member of the oppositions support, who kindly answered twenty questions for us.

1. Name - Dave Fletcher

2. How long have you supported RUFC - I have supported the millers for 25 years.

3. Best game you have seen - Has to be our Wembley win in the Auto Windscreens Shield of 1996

4. Worst game you have seen - Our game against Northampton in the FA cup a couple of seasons ago, we had got a draw at there place and brought them back to ours for the replay. The winners had got Man U at home in the next round. We were shocking and got dumped out.

5. Best player in current squad - Has to be Lee Williamson a real favourite, got him for free from Northampton and now is attracting interest from higher up.
6. Worst player in current squad - David Worrell, right back if he is a footballer then i am the pope.

7. Your proudest momment being a RUFC supporter - Two to choose from, our Wemley win or the game against yourselfs that got us promoted to the championship.

8. How happy are you with the current manager/board - The jury is still out on both as we have just got a new board so time will tell and the manager has only got a contract till the end of the season, if he keeps us up then he may be kept but with the new owners they may be looking to replace him.

9. How did you fare last season - Only one word for that ABYSMAL,relegated and the bubble had burst big time.

10. Where do you think you will finish this season - My heart says 19th but my head says 20th and just scrape it to stay up.

11. What kind of line up can we expect on Saturday - Same as you 4-4-2 with a couple of changes to last week because Jonathon Forte has gone back to Sheff U after his loan ended and Michael Keane who got sent off on saturday and has got a five match ban.

12. Who are your local rivals and why - Due to our location we have a few, i suppose it is Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley in this league but we seem to hate the pigs(Sheff Wednesday) with a passion.

13. Which team do you like to beat the most - Got to be Sheffield Wednesday, on the last 2 occassions we have visited them we have beat them 2-1 with last minute goals in both.

14. What memmories do you have of the Bees- Only the goal scored by Alan Lee to secure our place in the championship, oh and your mad as a hatter manager.

15. What score do you predict for Saturday - We seem to be good at grinding out a result at home so i will go for a 1-0 win but it will be very tight so a draw isn`t out of the question.

16. Who do you think is going up - Southend, Brentford and most probably a form team in the playoffs, Forest.

17. Who`s going down - Its going to be tough down there but i'd say MK Dons, Walsall and Swindon, not sure about the fourth, depends on the weekends results. Hopefully not us.

18. If you could change 1 law in football what would it be. It`s when a player gets fouled and then has to go off the pitch!! he has got fouled and then puts his team at a dis-advantage by having to go off,how fair is that???

19. Standing or Seating. Standing everytime it`s a better atmosphere.

20. And finally Tea,Coffee or Bovril. Coffee for me if there`s no beer available.
Good luck after saturday of course and Up the Millers.
