Allen: 'Bees are not favourites'

No doubt nervy but ready, Brentford's players will hit the field at 12:15pm tomorrow knowing their destiny is in their own hands.

After a spirit lifting performance in thursday away to Swansea the Bees need a positive result as they bid to reach the playoff final and face Huddersfield or Barnsley with a chance of reaching the championship in 2006/07.

An excellent performance has seen the game become an almost sell out at Griffin Park which will no doubt be rocking in the afternoon sunshine,

"I don't think we start as favourites. They're the league's top goalscorers and they can bring two subs on like Lee Trundle and (Adebayo) Akinfenwa. How much are they worth?" said Allen when questioned if he felt the bees were favourites.

Luckily for Brentford an appeals commity ruling will alow Stuart Nelson to play in tomorrows game against the Swans and they will also welcome back Sam Sodje who missed the midweek trip to Wales because of suspension.

Alen continued,

"We haven't got that ability or that luxury at our club but that's what makes it so special being at Brentford. It'll be tough no doubt, tough for both teams, and it could be a bloody Sunday couldn't it?"

The decision now remains as whether Allen will juggle his pack or stick with the team which did so well for him in the first leg.
