Speaking to the official website in his column this morning Allen spoke frankly and honestly about the weekends game,

"Our current position is we're going ok. I still feel there is room for improvement and if you have witnessed any of our footballt this season you would agree"

The boss was pleased to see his side battle to a 1-0 win yesterday but believes that he should not be greedy to expect more from his team,

"The second half was better yesterday but the first was nowhere near the standard we have set. Strangely it seems as if there was too much desire but no lack of effort."

Allen said though that despite their poor performance against the MK Dons, he was pleased all parites managed to stay calm,

"There was no need at half time to blast the players for a better performance but it was simply a case pf calming them all down and encoraging them to play with more confidence and take care in posession. Overall I was pleased my words were taken notice off."
