Allen was frustrated after the weekend's game
Realing from his sides embarassing 2-0 defeat to Bournmouth at the weekend Martin Allen was in determined mood speaking to the press this morning.

The boss was clearly disapointed at not only the result of the weekend's game but also the manor of his side's defeat,

"We had a fourthright discussion on saturday's game, it wasn't only me who contributed. I let the players know how I felt and they gave me plenty of feedback. It's clear to me that they are eager to move on and wish that a defeat like Saturday's will not occur while they are at the club."

Preparing to visit Rochdale at the weekend, Allen said,

"Last Saturday was poor all over apart from the first twenty minutes when we played very well. But it has happened, I can't turn my back on it and nor can the players but we must learn from it and move forward."

"We set ourselves high standards and I know all our supporters expect more that what they got on Saturday"

Brentford returned to the training ground this morning in an attempt to win through to the second round of the FA Cup.
