Eagerly anticipating tonight's clash with Oldham in their FA Cup Second Round Replay, Martin Allen seemed in a fairly positive mood.

The manager urged the players to move on from the weekend's disapointing 1-1 draw with Chesterfield and hit the ground running tonight to set up a clash with Stockport in Round Three.

"I felt it was important for the players to rest today to get ready for the high energy competitive game of football we are expecting tonight."

"On Saturday it wasn't the greatest performance but we still created chances without playing well and picked up an important point. Hopefully tonight we will have a couple back from injury and decisions because of this will not be made till late evening."

Allen urged the supports to get involved in tonight's game saying,

"There is no doubt in my mind the supporters will be turning up in eager anticipation after the taste of success they enjoyed last season. It is our duty to feed them!"
