Allen looking forward to New Years test

Returning to Griffin Park for tomorrow's game against Colchester Brentford boss Martin Allen is expecting another great game and superb atmosphere in League One tomorrow.

"I did feel a bit of an anti climax after the midweek game was cancelled" said the boss,

"We were all prepared and ready for the challenge that was before us but it gave me an oppertunity to let the players have a day off after a long journey, recharging their batteries was essential"

He warned that tomorrow's game would be different however saying,

"In my mind the players are no fresh and raring to go"

Speaking on the team Allen said,

"We have a coupld coming back after suspension and I'll think overnight about who should start the game"

After an excellent showing on Boxing Day Martin told the supporters,

"I really do hope the people from Boxing Day give us another go and that the passion from the terraces and the stands continues. The atmosphere is good for the home team and a real advantage."

The boss once more ensured that he feels Brentford posess more in their locker despite being top,

"Trust me, there is still more to come. We can still get better and we must keep moving onwards and upwards"
