Allen praises Owusu

After some superb performances in recent games and his dramatic equalising goal which gave Brentford a point against Oldham this weekend Martin Allen has revealed his delight at 'Summer signing' Lloyd Owusu.

"Llyod has been playing very well" Allen said,

"He was outstanding when we won 2-1 last week and he deserved his goal."

Attacker Owusu, 28 had previously failed to find the net in five games but his goals in the past two weekends have earned him praise from his boss,

"The fans must have been extermely releaved we re-signed him after his goal at the weekend!"
