On his way to watch several of our young stars play tonight Martin Allen took time out to speak about his mixed feelings over the weekend game,

"On saturday I was delighted with the overall performance but there were several things which frustrated me. There was some poor defending which cost us three points"

Allen continued,

"I was delighted with the way the players came back from 3-1 down, it took guts and courage and that was a very very good point"

As previously mentioned Martin Allen was on his way to watch Clark Masters and Joun Mousinho perform in the Slough vs East Thurrock game as he sent his assistant to watch the youth team play in the FA Cup.

The players won through 3-1 against Buntingford and will now face Arsenal in the next round at Barnet's home ground, and interesting trip for Martin Allen's young side back to his first home.

Ahead of the weekends game against Scunthorpe Allen said,

"Alex Rhodes is back in full training now as is Isaiah Rankin and Junior Lewis"

Speaking later on to the official website Allen announced some news,

"I have decided to make Michael Dobson available for loan. Michael needs to play games and his oppertunities have been limited. He's a good player but I feel this will be in his best interests and also in the best interests of the football club"
