Allen upset by frustrating draw

After his side were forced to another campaign in the playoffs, Brentford manager Martin Allen found it difficult to hide his anger and frustration after his side were twice pegged back in their bid to gain three points and automatic promotion.


With the Bees allowing yet another late goal in the manager said,

"I was not interested in what was going on elsewhere - I only cared about my team and I really wanted to win this game."

He continued,

"I am proud of my players this season and I love my players to bits but now is the time for some straight talking. To concede goals at the end of each half like that is hard to take and nobody is more disappointed than me."
