Despite being extremely pleased by the bees for over the last week, two wins have seen his side climb to second. With Yeovil and Barnsley beaten 2-1 and 3-1 respectively Allen has stated his delight but also his caution for the coming weeks.

Speaking to the official website Allen said,

"There are still eleven games to go. A lot can happen in eleven games so it's no good getting carried away."

He said on his team that,

"The important issues are to keep working hard on the training pitch and improving the performances as we go along. There is no time to rest either and sitting back in your armchair dreaming."

Martin Allen understood the feeling of his supporters,

"From your point of view i'm sure you are nervous, excited and very proud just as I am."

He once again re-itterated his stance that the table is not important to him stating,

"The only time that the League table is going to be important is the morning after we play Bournmouth away."
