Despite the disapointment of the weekends game against Bournmouth as well as several lapses of concentration in thelatter stages of the season, Martin Allen believes that his Brentford side have to go abck to basics in a bid to reach the playoff final.

Allen stated when questioned whether he believed that his side could defeat Swansea,

"Let's have it!,"

"Swansea beat us at their place but we won the home game against them so we are ready for it."

He believes that the clubs fortunes throughly rests in their own hands and states,

"We keep making rash challenges around our box. When people have their backs to play, you don't need to foul them."

"The team acquitted themselves very well, but a couple of basic errors have cost us dearly"

He finished by saying,

"There will be some straight talking before the semi-final - I love my players to bits and I've done my best to give them confidence, but these errors have come in at the end of both halves over the last few games."
