Allen welcomes back players for Walsall game

After losing DJ Campbell to Birmingham on transfer deadline day and securing the services of John Mousinho for two more years Allen was delighted today to welcome back players he described as 'new signings'.

Training today saw the return of Darren Pratley and Alex Rhodes who have been nursing injuries for extented lengths of times.

Pratley on loan from Fulham was injured after the FA Cup replay with Oldham and Alex Rhodes has been out for nearly a year with a cruciate knee problem. The boss has included both in the squad for Saturday's games and said,

"We are delighted to have them back"

Allen also reported on Junior Lewis who he reported will start training tomorrow but will not be involved at the weekend and spoke at his delight of seeing the return to training of Oli Skulason who has been injured since the beginning of the season with a cruciate injury and although the boss warned he has a long was to full recovery the manager was delighted that he had no ill effect to the work he had completed during the session.
