Allen's pre-match message

After seeing his side stumble to three draws in a row in a bid to gain automatic promotion from League One Brentford's manager issued a cry to all his players today to deliver an improved performance against Blackpool on Monday.


"I've told the players what I expect and made changes because overall I want better performances from what I am getting. It's OK me seeing quality on the training pitch but I want quality in the games."

"It's time for a change" stated the manager boldly indicating that there could be a couple of of alterations in personel and prehaps even tactics tomorrow."

He continued,

"Never before have I asked you to turn up and back and support the players."

"I have always said that that has to come first and foremost from the players themselves which fires you to enthusiam."

He indicated that Brentford would be bold tomorrow and said,

"The last month has been nervous, edgy and at times heart attack material. I've no room for that"

"My player have been told in no uncertain terms to step it up and now we must all do the same"
