Despite another season struggling at the bottom of the table, MK Dons have been sparked into a late revival this season by striker Izale McLeod.

Joining at the beginning of the MK Dons official move to the Hockey Stadium from Derby County he has become an excellent player for the Dons who look to use his pace as the weapon in their armoury.

Lightning quick and aware of players round him, he has scored a number of vital goals this season as well as leading the line in his teams battle against the drop. Combining his natural goalscoring ability with an excellent first touch McLeod has scored goals from all over the pitch this year.

If the sign of a good player is scoring goals in a struggling team then Izale's battle up the scoring charts is all the more impressive because of his teams performance.

Representing the Coca Cola League's Under 21's against their Italian counterparts an impressive performance put the striker in the shop window and a move to a bigger club may be dependant on his clubs status next season.
