Earnshaw: 31 league goals
Cardiff City's Robert Earnshaw walked away with the prize of being the leading goalscorer in the Nationwide Second Division.

Earnshaw finished with an incredible 31 league goals, and in doing so broke a club record for the Bluebirds which had stood for nearly 80 years.

Stockport County's prolific striker, Luke Beckett finished in second place, his 27 goals for Carlton Palmer's struggling outfit being the prime reason for their eventual escape from relegation.

Ex-Chelsea marksmen Sam Parkin of Swindon Town was in third place, his 25 goals making him a crowd favourite at the County Ground.

Stallard
In fourth place was Notts County's much travelled marksmen, Mark Stallard.

The ex-Wycombe Wanderers striker found the net an impressive twenty four times for the men from Meadow Lane throughout the campaign.

Vine:

For the Bees, Rowan Vine finished with ten league goals.

In joint second place was Stephen Hunt and the now departed to Nationwide First Division, Mark McCammon, who both found the net on seven occasions.

Ibrahima Sonko and midfielder schemer Kevin O'Connor both netted six times for Wally Downes' side.
