Martin Allen was understandably disapointed with the 1-1 draw at Griffin Park
Being honored at BBC Television studios today Martin Allen still had time to speak about his teams draw with Oldham yesterday.

The manager was understandably disapointed that his side could only manage a point yesterday and they did this coming from behind. The boss described the mid-week 3-2 win at Yeovil as a pantomime after the visitors came from 2-0 down.

The boss had hoped that the players would respons with a resounding victory this weekend but it did not prove to be the case as a battling Chesterfield held strong for a 1-1 draw and may have felt a little hard done by with just a point.

"I'm normally fairly calm at half time but I wasn't on this occasion" the boss said as he revealed that harsh words were exchanged between the manager and his players.

"I wasn't happy and I told the players the supporters weren't happy either - the fans and me expect much more than that. We dipped below the high standards we've set, but I suppose it's another point towards the title."
