After a hard fought game at the Earth Stadium in Doncaster this evening, Brentford and the home side drew thier first blanks in several games. Both sides battled hard but neither could force the vital breakthrough and both managers and sets of players had to settle for a point.

For Brentford it brings to end a run of two games without defeat but leaves them without a win in three and for Doncaster it keeps them going with a run of five undefeated.

What the manager said?

Martin Allen was pleased with his sides application to the stiff Yorkshire task,

"I thought coming of Saturday's game we played very well,"

"We played a bit more like the standards we have set at Brentford but I still think we should have come away with three goals."

He sent out special praise to Stuart Nelson,

"He did very well tonight. After a difficult run of form he's really shown why he's the number one choice at the moment."

"The same goes for all the players though, they should all be pleased with their effort"

What the players said?

Returning from injury Alex Rhodes played 30 minutes and was pleased with his return,

"It was great to be back you know, I've been working hard in training and it was a relief to be finally back out there playing"

Darren Pratley who played well in midfield also spoke saying,

"It was a tough game, very cold conditions meant that the pace of the game had to be quick and I think we matched their tempo."

What the fans said?

Jacob Martin a travelling bee said,

"I always thought it was going to be tough to come here and get a result, but I felt we probably could have nicked it with a bit of luck."
