After claiming their first victory over the season at the weekend over Blackpool, the Brentford train this evening rolled through Northampton claiming a rather fortunate 1-0 victory.

The team was a similar line up to Saturday's with Nelson replacing Clark Masters in goal, Tomlin coming in for Brooker and Moore replacing the injured Willock.
Not that it will bothers fans or the players but Chris Moore's second half goal looked easily preventable however it is hard work which produces goals, not errors and the striker deserved all the credit he got after scoring his first senior goal for Brentford.

The Bees task was clear ahead of tonights game, continue the 100% start, and after the final whistle Leroy Rosenior appeared delighted with his players.

What the manager said?
Leroy Rosenior was obviously pleased with the way his team performed tonight,

"After Saturday's win it was important to build on three points"

"I thought we started better today though Northampton had their chances and will be disapointed not to have got level in the second half."

"I thought the side did excellently again and once more they did what i asked of them, win!"

What the Supporters said?
Grant Levy of Northampton told me,

"It was a daft goal to give away and theres no excuse"

"We looked sharp but I always felt that Brentford would score"

Lee Morrison a Brentford fan spoke after the game saying,

"I'm so happy we got three points again."

"Taking each game at a time at the moment is key and if we can stick with the leading group I think Leroy could take this team places this year."
