After another meeting with Oldham, Brentford and their manager Martin Allen will be non too disapointed with a replay at Griffin Park after a 1-1 draw at Boundary Park.

After coming back from 1-0 down Brentford like their opponents had chances to win the game, however both sides will be delighted with the potential motivation of a large scalp in round three, the draw of which takes place tomorrow and both sides will be entered.

As usual we heard from Brentford players, manager and fans.

What the manager said?

Martin Allen seemed fairly satisfied after his sides result today,

"It would be easy to make a case for either side to win, so I think a draw was probably just."

"Yet again we started well, but went behind. Once we scored we looked a little bit more like winning the game"

"Overall I was pleased with the sides efforts today and we'll be hoping for a victory on wednesday week in the reply"

What the players said?

The returning Marcus Gayle was pleased with his sides application,

"I think the boys performed to a high standard today, but travelling home we're a bit disapointed with a draw. I think the result was fair though but we felt the win was there for the taking."

On being back in the squad Allen said,

"Yeah of course it's a relief to be back, the injury was niggling but kept me out for longer than expected, but I'm hoping to force my way back into the team"

Goalkeeper Stuart Nelson also spoke saying,

"I felt like all the other players did, that the game was there for the taking, but we couldn't quite complete the task today. Luckily we'll be getting another try and I only hope we can win to build on the success we've already had this season"

What the fans said?

Marcus Dobson, an Oldham fan at today's game said,

"I think the game was fairly equal, but i'm not overly confident we can win at Griffin Park, but this is the FA Cup, anything can happen"

Brentford fan Chris Blackmore said,

"We probably deserved a win today but in football you don't always get what you should and we'll be looking for a comfortable victory in the replay"
