After years of surviving by the skin of their teeth, it seems as though the end is nigh for League One's Rotherham.
Relegation last season saw them drop into the third tier of English football and now finances have become a real issue at the club. Unlike the situation in our own club, Rotherham have no option of a buy out and no option of financial help, their objective is simple, raise money or be out of existence in the 2006/7 season.
Today I recieved a mail from the Rotherham editor saying,
"My club is in the mire. We need aat least £1m to see us out to the end of the
season otherwise we're gone. no administration, we're history."
He asked me to give you the appeals address or simply visit rotherham-mad.co.uk for more details.
