Aftermath of the Bradford Game...

After a dissapointing result brought an sudden halt to our recent excellent run of form, we take a look at what the players and pundits had to say about this afternoon's game.

What the squad said?
Martin Allen was understandable gutted by todays result, he spoke after the game saying,

"Obviously I'm dissapointed but sometimes you learn more from defeat than victory and today I think my team learnt the hard way. Strange as though it sounds we could have to three within the first twenty minutes as we had some very, very good chances"

He went on to say,

"It's strange that in our last two games we have limited our opponents to two shots each, where as today everytime Bradford came forward they looked like they were going to score"

Marcus Gayle also spoke to us saying,

"There's an upset set of players in the changing room right now but we simply must move on, games like this are all about what happens next, we can't let our season fall apart because of one sloppy performance."

Scott Fitzgerald (Snr) echoed previous sentiments,

"When you play that badly and get soundly beaten, all you want to do is play your next game to banish memories of games like this, the Wrexham game is going to be key to whether or not we make the playoffs."

What the experts said...?

BBC.co.uk - wrote that the Bees were soundly beaten by the much better side, also said that making the playoffs have been made a real struggle by Brentford.

ESPN.com - agreed that the Bees have been thrashed an dplayed awfully on the day, commented that the team didnt turn up and managed to save face a little by winning the 2nd half.

Teamtalk - also commented that Brentford didnt really turn up today, didnt look interested and deserved to be beaten by an 'average' Bradford side, who were made to look special by sill individual errors.

Griffinpark.org - Yet to name a man of the match but were disguested with the performance of brentford today, saying that promotion is diffiult to visualise if Brentford continue to be inconsistant.
