Leaving the pitch yesterday Brentford's players recieved a standing ovation after another season of nearlys.

Defeated at the same stage last season Allen was defiant and stated that he wanted to keep the team together an build on the sucesses they have. Twelve months on it appears that the future may not be quite so simple for Brentford this time around.

Worryingly the manager refused today to speak about his future but confirmed that changes will be made at Griffin Park this summer,

"I need to settle down, meet my staff and make some decisions."

With several players undoubtably playing their last game for Brentford at Griffin Park yesterday it looks as though Allen will simply have to wait and see what offers come along as he said,

"We have a lot of good players out of contract and we go from this game into making decisions about players' careers"
