Speaking to the press today Martin Allen is still dealing with the outcomes of Monday's game against Port Vale.

As well as defending his own actions during the game at Vale Park, Allen claimed that goalkeeper Stuart Nelson will be under no pressure during the next game,

"He's been superb in the first two games and we play as a team. As far as we're concerned it wasn't just his mistake"

Nelson enjoyed a sucessful season last year and Allen said,

"Stuart is always going to save us more points than he will lose us, I think he's a reliable member of the squad and the players will all be full backing him during the rest of the season"
