After not turning up as expected in the Tranmere job yesterday, it appears apparent that Martin Allen was unable to agree personal terms with the Wirrel club, instead leaving the door open for former Oldham man Ronnie Moore to take the job.

Rumours in the national press today state that Allen is currently wanted by relegatees Milton Keynes Dons. However with the current state of the clubs finances it would be understandable if he also turned them down, though as a club with a very good work ethic and no star players they would seemingly suit his management style.

In a bizzare swap it is also rumoured that Danny Wilson is interested the Brentford board with his credentials and could be in line alongside Ian Holloway and Alex Inglethorpe for a an interview next week regarding the job.
