After the Bees youth team opened up a new chapter in their history books last night with a stunning win over Arsenal in the FA Cup, the Brentford boss urged concentration from his team as they look to cement their position in the League so far.

Unbeaten in nine League and Cup games, Allen insisted that despite his sides good run that does no necessarily do them many favours unless they keep this run going,

"As I always say, the season is a long and grueling one. Its impossible to call who will win this League at the current stage"

With the Bees sitting third on goal difference Allen stated,

"Unlike last year when we had Hull and Luton there are no outstanding teams - so it will be a real scrap"

"I think their absense makes like more difficult because there are a lot of teams who are very similar. There will be plenty of ups and downs between now and the end of the campaign"
