An audience with Leroy...

A well organised and throughly enjoyable question and answer session took place at Griffin Park last night as Brentford's newly instated manager Leroy Rosenior got his first chance to meet some of the supporters and answer their burning questions.

Topics varied, as expected, from the sale of Turner, Sodje and Tabb to his squad plans for the season as Leroy opened up about his plans for the club in the coming season.

One of the biggest talking points so far for Brentford fans this year has been the sale of top players. With Turner and Sodje, the starting central defensive pairing from last season departing Rosenior said,

"At the moment I'm talking to a centre half and seeing another one tomorrow. We need a strong player in that position and someone with experience."

"Hopefully a deal can be concluded at the end of the week"

The manager also confirmed that he is looking to strengthen the spine of the team by signing another defender, midfielder and striker but confirmed that he does not see it necessary to bring in a goalkeeper to back up Stuart Nelson. He feels that unless he or Master's gets injured there is no point bringing in a third choice.

The manager also briefly discussed the clubs financial position stating that there is money available after the sales of Sodje and Turner. Some bad news the boss had for the fans was that Lloyd Owusu needs an operation and will be out for up to three months.

Rosenior also confirmed that he has offered contracts to Kevin O'Connor and Andy Frampton but said that there will be no decision to the end of the week on these, he hopes both sign and wants to build the team around his 'best players'.
