ANDERSON LEAVES GRIFFIN PARK

The official Bees website, BRENTFORDFC, has this morning confimed that long serving defender Ijah Anderson has left the club and joined Nationwide Division Three Club, Bristol Rovers, managed by Ray Graydon.

"After eight years and 242 games for Brentford, Ijah Anderson has been released, enabling him to join Bristol Rovers.

The 27-year-old completed the necessary paperwork late on Friday afternoon, The Pirates stepping in to make his move at the Memorial Ground permanent.

Ijah joined Brentford from Southend United in August 1995 and became a huge fans favourite in his time at Griffin Park, winning a Third Division Championship medal in 1999. From all at Griffin Park, we wish Ijah the very best of luck at Rovers and indeed his future career".
