Award for Sodje

Brentford defender Sam Sodje was today announced as 'The Evening Standard's' Player of the Month. The manage spoke earlier about how proud the club was of the Nigerian who beat off challenges from John Terry, Frank Lampard, Thierry Henry and Jermain Defoe.

That itself is an excellent achievement, we hope to hear from Sam at some point today to tell us his thoughts!
