"We played a 4-5-1 system today with the players we had available and I thought it was working. For 80 minutes we were looking good to go on and get all three points but once again our defending has let us down.
“We have got to defend better, for Brentford’s last goal, Burgess shouldn’t have had the time to turn in the box like he did.
“After we gave away the penalty, they kept putting balls in the box and with the crowd lifted, they stretched us.
“We have got to be better once we take the lead and defend stronger. Unfortunately, at the end of the day we just weren’t good enough to keep it.
