Bees agree Leary loan

Scott Fitgzerald this morning completed the loan signing of Michael Leary from Luton Town of the Championship to take his number of deals to three in the January transfer window.

After bringing in David Partridge and Joe Keith yesterday, Leary, a midfielder has joined in an initial month loan deal.

The 23 year old was instructed by his manager Mike Newell to gain some experience after failing to win a place in the Luton Town team for a vast majority of the season and Fitzgerald sees him as the ideal player to help Brentford in their current struggles.

Brentford today also agreed a loan extension for Nathan Abbey, who's contract has been added to by another seven days under the facility to emergency loan a goalkeeper.
