Bees boss angry at wasted chances

Following Brentford's defeat to Yeovil on Saturday manager Leroy Rosenior was upset with the way that he felt his side gifted Yeovil the game.

Conceeding a last minute winner to Chris Cohen Rosenior felt that switching off at the back combined with missing chances in the end cost his side dearly.

"We had numerous chances," said Rosenior,

"In the second half we dominated the game but we caused our own problems. The first goal I think was their first set piece and the goal at the end we just stopped and watched."

Yesterday Rosenior commented that his side were 'naive' and once more he backed his youngsters but said that despite the good performance the result was far from what he expects,

"It's not acceptable. We missed too many chances, good chances at crucial times."

"In this division one thing you cant do is switch off and we did that twice. We weren't organised and they punished us for that"

Rosenior did however state that the result was harsh on his players and prehaps a point would have been a fair result,

"It was an even first half and we dominated in the second period. You can tell by their reaction they thought they'd nicked it. I thought we deserved something out of the game, but you don't if you do stupid things."
