Since the departures of Michael Turner and Sam Sodje, the Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior has been looking for adequate replacements for the clubs starting defenders last season.

With Adam Griffiths joining the club two weeks ago, Leroy Rosenior announced to supporters last week that he was looking to add another central defender and it appears that an announcement is close to being made regarding the identity of the player.

Rosenior stated,

"We're looking for a player with 'been there' done it experience"

BBC.co.uk also revealed today that Brentford have are potentially looking to sign a deal with Danny Kedwell, a striker from Welling who has been on trial with the club wince last week.

His manager Adrian pennock told BBC Radio Ken,

"I don't want to stand in the boys way. I wont want him to leave and if he stays it will be brilliant for the club but he's got a young family and he's got to look after them"

Rumours are that despite signing two strikers already this year Rosenior is looking for a replacement for the injured Lloyd Owusu who is out till September and the player who has been named Conference South player of the month three times could be the man to fill the Ghanian's boots.
