Despite going down to another defeat yesterday, Brentford manager Scott Fitzgerald felt his side had done enough to prehaps gain a little something more out of the game.

With injury problems in his squad, the manager was put under unecessary pressure after seeing two of his players being sent off, but he felt that his young team battled well and that the performance may be significant on their road to survival,

"I have to say I was proud of my players, they battled well against a very good Yeovil side and we could have pinched a point near the end when Calum Willock hit the bar."

On the sending's off of Wilson and Partridge he said,

"I will have a look at the video before deciding whether to appeal. Dave Partridge said he didn't make any contact with the Yeovil man (Leon Best) and I've spoken to Best who says something similar."

"As for the Wilson incident, the referee said he took the ball and the man and if he got the ball I can't see why he was sent off."
