Brentford boss Scott Fitzgerald was unhappy at the way in his his side were defeated by Swansea but insisted that it will take consistency to get his side out of trouble.

After beating Chesterfield on Saturday Brentford were beaten 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium, a place where so much bad luck has struck them over the past few seasons.

Fitzgerald said,

"It's not a great start to the year."

"Our keeper didnt have to do much but we didn't trouble theirs either and scoring is definately one of our problems."

With plans still underway for signings to be made in the transfer window, Scott said,

"But we have a lot of injuries and we missed Matt Heywood at the back and that has cost us.

"When you concede goals like that, then you are always going to be in trouble."
