He made his dubut for the U21's in October when he came on in the final stages of the Republic`s 3-0 win over Cyprus.

Meanwhile, Ivar Ingimarsson played 90 minutes in Iceland's 0-0 friendly draw with Kuwait on Tuesday.

Ivar played in central midfield, unlike his normal central defensive role for The Bees.

It was Ivars 3rd Internal cap, but has put the Bees before his country.

He was quoted in the Chronicle as saying "They asked me which games I would be available for because the management know that lower division clubs work to a tight schedule.

"I mentioned the game against Port Vale and we agreed I should come back for that and play only against Kuwait.

"I am very happy with that because my priority has to be to get Brentford promotion because that will improve my international chances anyway."
