Having released Leroy Rosenior from his contract over three weeks ago, the bees results have not improved since his departure.
The club made a statement this morning to say,
'As you are probably aware, the interviews are underway.'
'Scott is included and will follow a similar process to all others. We did contact a few possible candidates who did not wish to be considered further.'
The statement also suggested a potential date when the new mans identity will be known,
'We expect to be making our proposal to the Board by midweek and an announcement prior to our forthcoming Port Vale match.'
They did however confirm,
'None of us are discussing names with our friends in the media, so any editorial comment is as speculative as it is entertaining'
