Terry Butcher has signed former MK Dons midfielder Gary Smith,
23, on a Twelve month contract.
Smith joined the Dons in 2004 after failing to make the grade at
his local club
Dons but looks to have fallen out with Martin Allen, who then left
Smith out of his team selections before finally releasing him.
Smith has figured in a large amount of pre-season training and
playing for the Bees so far this Summer has impressed with his
command of the midfield area.
Smith brings the total Summer signings by Manager Terry
Butcher to nine, as he and Andy Scott attempt to build a squad
capable of promotion.
