After commenting following the weekend's defeat that he was still interested in signing players to boost the clubs relegation bid, Bees manager Scott Fitzgerald took his first move today by signing Striker Scott Taylor from the MK Dons.

Having joined ex-boss Martin Allen in January 2006, Taylor has been some what of a peripheral figure, starting just 16 games, but has also player for Millwall, Bolton and Tranmere.

With Fitzgerald looking to cover the absense of Jo Kuffour for the next two games, the experienced forward is expected to be included in this weekends squad to face Bristol City.

Brentford also confirmed this morning that defender Garry Richards will be spending another month with the club on loan from Colchester. The 20 year old was due to leave on the 5th March but will now be available for another month after his club agreed to extend his deal.
