Bees's to stage Scott tribute match

Leyton Orient and Brentford today confirmed that on 20th July they will play a friendly pre-season game as a tribute to former employee of both Andy Scott who has been fored to retire with a severe heart condition.

The striker who only joined the O's last March was diagnosed with the same condition which killed Marc Vivien Foe and on advice from his doctor's retired two weeks ago.

The game will kick off at 7:30pm at Griffin Park and more details will be announced in the near future.

O's boss Martin Ling told his club's website: "It's only right we have some sort of match and he deserves support."
