BIAS Press Release

The meeting will take place in the Hounslow Civic Centre on Saturday 8th June, starting at 3pm.

John McGlashan, a director of Brentford FC and chairman of Bees United, the supporters trust, will attend the event. All 60 of the borough`s Councillors have also received an invitation.

Prior to the meeting BIAS will highlight the club`s predicament by handing out leaflets across the borough from 11am. Volunteers who want to help with this task should call the BIAS Hotline (0790 437 5051) for more details.

Although the Civic Centre was chosen for this event because of its large capacity, Brentford fans are being urged to arrive early to avoid disappointment. The doors will be open from 2pm and bar is available. An open forum will be preceded by a number of speeches from Bees supporters.

BIAS Chair, Pete Johnston, said: "The meeting has been called to discuss the serious situation at the Club. We need to work towards solving the issues. The best way for Bees fans to help secure the club`s future is to get behind Bees United. We hope that this meeting will clear up a lot of queries and galvanise Brentford fans".
