Martin Allen was pleased with tonight's performance
Two games played and it seems as though the Bees are finding their stride as far as playing as a team goes. With eight exits and five entrances it seems as though the new Bees are slotting into the team nicely and the team are finding their rhythm slowly.

Not getting carried away obviously as we've only played two lower league opposition teams but Martin Allen seems to believe that his team are heading in the right direction,

"Tonight's game was a very competitive one and the team played well. We passed the ball extermely well and created a number of oppertunities. All in all it was a very good work out"

Only Sam Sodje who was excused due to family matters and Andy Frampton who despite recovering from injury was struck by a stomach bug didnt play. No injuries were picked up tonight either which is good news all round.

Allen's line up was Clark Masters in goal, Michael's Dobson and Turner at the back with Marcus Gayle and Sam Tillen. A midfield of Jay Tabb, Ricky Newman, Oli Skulason and Paul Brooker, up top the Bees played Dj Campbell and Scott Fitzgerald.

During the game the boss changed his team round using Eddie Hutchinson, Kevin O'Connor, Lloyd Owusu, Isaiah Rankin and Ryan Peters.

It was two of the starters however who grabbed the goals, new boys Brooker and Skulason netting in the first 25 minutes to seal a 2-1 win.
