Having played against high flying Bristol City and Scunthorpe in the last two games, Brentford have a more realistically winnable game ahead of them next Saturday as they match up with the bottom side Rotherham United.

Fitzgerald, believes that the game can be the start of another Brentford revival and called on all his players to be ready,

"I'd love to play in that one" he said jokingly,

"If you don't want to play next week, then you shouldn't be playing football. I can't see the need for a team talk next week, it's a home match and we need to make the tempo at home, and we will do."

Speaking on his sides increasingly narrowing chances of staying in League One, he said,

"Of course I think we can stay up"

"Other teams have had games in hand an an advantage to break away but those haven't been taken."

"It's in our hands and nothing has changed. We've got two home games coming up and we're looking for the fans and the players and everyone to create a marvellous atmosphere and help us win the game."
