Brentford went down 1-0 at Griffin Park to a Saints side who have now have seven wins from their last eight games.

Saint's substitute Marek Saganowski scored the only goal, four minutes into the second half after coming off the bench at half time.

Brentford have managed just one win in their pre-season campaign, 1-0 against Chelsea reserves.
