Brentford 1 - 1 Bradford

Brentford moved a step closer to a guarenteed playoff place yesterday, despite being held at home by mid-table Bradford City.

On paper the Bees will be disapointed with the fact they couldnt convert their chances, especially at home, however the 1-1 draw added another point to the West London clubs tally and with promotion rivals struggling for form the Bees can now move onto the next game hoping they can extend their advantage in second place.

What the manager said?
Martin Allen was phylosophical about his sides well earnt point,

"In the end people might look at it as two points lost, but we're just glad that we've picked points up and moved closer to the end of the season"

Reitterating his beliefs he said,

"To me it is just one more game and more points collected, I'm not making an predictions about how many points we'll need. We'll just look to the next game and look to work one what we feel needs putting right in training."

"I couldn't ask anything more of the players today, they did very well and I think they will feel like they've done nearly everything they can to get a good result"

What the fans said?
Fiona Greening said,

"I think that we probably deserved more than a point but Bradford we a tough side to break down. Yet again we didnt look likely to get more than one goal and I think it's going to be a case of how well we can finish if we want to make it to the playoffs."

Steve Champion a Bradford fan said,

"Yet again we made it difficult to Brentford to play. I think they'll feel a little bit hard done by but with their position in the table currently we're delighted with a point."
