Brentford manager Scott Fitzgerald all but confirmed today that Che Wilson, a loan signing from Southend will not be the final player joining his Griffin Park playing staff in the transfer window.

Assesing his squad ahead of the game with Yeovil at the weekend, Fitzgerald said,

"There are still a few out injured,"

"But Matt Heywood is the only long term absentee"

The Brentford boss told the media that he still has injury concerns over Karleigh Osbourne, Chris Moore, Alex Rhodes and Kevin O'Connor. He did state there was better news over Andrew Frampton and Jo Kuffour who both trained today.

The bees are still waiting for confirmation that Nathan Abbey's emergency loan will be extended for another seven days with neither Clark Masters or Stuart Nelson back to 100%.

Regarding Che Wilson's involvement in this weekend's game, a source close to the manager said,

"I would have thought he will go straight into the squad this weekend."

Whilst Fitzgerald himself told the Wimbledon Guardian,

"I'm looking at bringing in more cover for injuries at the moment, not just defensively but also in attacking areas as I would like another striker"
