He said: “It’s great to see Bees United taking a lead in fundraising on behalf of the Club. This will send out a clear message to (Hounslow) council that the situation at Brentford Football Club is not one of scare mongering, and that’s it’s a very real one.
“We have a desperate cash flow problem that has been brought about due to a combination of things but more recently the collapse of ITV Digital has compounded our problems dramatically. Any help that Bees United can bring through active fundraising is worthwhile. I support their appeal wholeheartedly.”
