Brentford predicted lineup vs Leicester - Premier League

Brentford will be looking to continue their momentum when they travel to face Leicester in the Premier League.

The Bees moved eight points clear of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win over Burnley last time out, which followed on from their 3-1 success at Norwich the previous week.

It means Thomas Frank can breathe slightly easier after a run of nine games without a win had dragged the Bees into a relegation tussle.

Nevertheless, here's how Brentford could line up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

David Raya (GK) - The Spaniard's return to form between the posts has coincided with the improvement in Brentford's results.

Kristoffer Ajer (RB) - Has experience as a full back at Celtic, galloping down the flanks with real purpose.

Pontus Jansson (CB) - Endured a disappointing run to start the year, but he has regained his composure in recent weeks.

Ethan Pinnock (CB) - Boasts a cultured left foot and is capable of driving into midfield when required.

Rico Henry (LB) - Indefatigable energy on the left-hand side, he is always looking to supply Toney with deliveries from wide.

2. Midfielders

Vitaly Janelt (RM) - Has been hugely impressive in recent weeks, starting all but two games for the Bees in 2022.

Christian Norgaard (CM) - His defensive nous has allowed Frank to deploy Eriksen in a central position.

Christian Eriksen (CM) - A gorgeous assist to tee up Toney last weekend, which is exactly what Brentford have lacked this season.

Sergi Canos (LM) - Played the majority of this campaign as a right wing-back, which makes his recent shift over to the opposite flank even more remarkable.

3. Forwards

Bryan Mbeumo (ST) - Has proven an effective foil for Toney in attack, using his pace to stretch defences down the sides.

Ivan Toney (ST) - Has scored all of Brentford's five goals in their previous two victories, hitting a rich vein of form when the Bees required it most.
