Could Griffin Park itself be renamed following the clubs announcement that more deals willl be made regarding sponsorship?
With this seemingly the day for announcements at Griffin Park with the club confirming that Martin Allen will no longer manage the club, slightly better news hit the official website this morning as Brentford agreed a two year deal with Samvo.com to become the clubs official shirt sponsor.

Taking over from London based St. George, the first Chinese mainstream betting site becomes the clubs main shirt sponsor. However there will still be some involvement from the West London sponsors.

Samvo's Wayne Openshaw said,

"As a new European Brand the only thing we were missing was a strong branding partnership. I am confident that Brentford Football Club will fill this gap. With the latest addition, Brentford Communities and Chinese Communities in the UK and Europe will have a unique European brand to support. Brentford FC was a natural selection since it supports our key football market and location"

This deal comes as the second of two, the first was announced yesterday which saw Refresing Solutions become the first ever company to sponsor one of the stand's at the 102 year old stadium.

The Braemar Road Stand will now officially be known as the RefresingSolutions Stand as from 1st August.

A spokesman at RefresingSolutions said,

"Having built a close relationship with Brentford FC and it's staff over the past couple of seasons with smaller sponsorship oppertunities, we are delighted to be associated in this way with such a long standing stant. We look forward to futher supporting Brentford FC over the coming seasons as it expands upon its recent ownership changes, helping to maintain and grow the Clubs expectations & goals."

The club itself announced,

"This is the first stage in an ongoing process of inviting local companies to enjoy the benefits of becoming partners with Brentford Football Club with oppertunities which include the naming rights and branding of the Griffin Park stadium."
